Eager to further his education, he also obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College.

Michael's professional career began right after earning his Bachelor's degree when he took on the role of Staff Accountant at Crumbs Bake Shop. He diligently worked at Crumbs for over 4 years before moving on to become an Accounting Systems Analyst I for the City of Baltimore in April 2013.
In this important role, Michael was responsible for analyzing, developing, installing, and auditing the accounting systems and procedures implemented by the city. Sadly, his tenure in this position only lasted 9 months before he passed away in December 2013.
Right before his untimely death, Michael had just started a new job as an Accountant at Structural Group located in Columbia, Maryland. This promising young man had his whole career ahead of him, and it is a tragedy for all those who knew and loved him that his life was cut short so suddenly.
